Harold Jones is an Indianapolis native and Lawrence North High School graduate. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in finance from Ball State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Ball State, Harold was on the Dean’s List for eight consecutive semesters, was an Evan Bayh 21st Century Scholar for four straight years, and received the Ball State Scholars Award for four consecutive years. He is currently working towards his master’s degree in taxation at IUPUI.
As a Whitinger Intern, Harold works with other professionals in the firm to prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses. He collaborates with staff members to complete financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and depreciation schedules. Overall, he will apply what he has learned in the classroom to solve real client issues.
Harold worked through high school and college with jobs on and off campus. Additionally, he balanced his rigorous academic and work schedule while performing as a Division 1 athlete as a four-year Ball State Cardinal Football team member. Harold enjoys outdoor activities such as walking and enjoying the natural scenery. He also likes to exercise and talk business with his friends and family.
