JACOB EILER, CPA

Jacob graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Accounting and Information Systems in May 2015. After graduation, Jacob worked both in industry and public accounting. He received his CPA certificate in 2018 while working for a local CPA firm. Before joining Whitinger’s Muncie office in 2022, Jacob was with Anderson, Indiana-based J.P. Kane & Co for four years. As a Senior Accountant with Whitinger & Company, his responsibilities include accounting, auditing, consulting and tax compliance services for small businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations.

Jacob resides in Gaston, Indiana outside of Muncie, and is involved in several community organizations around his hometown. He attends Mount Olive Community Church, where he serves as a worship leader, member of the board, and President of the Mt. Olive Community Church Men’s Group. Jacob also volunteers with the Gideons, United Way, Muncie Kiwanis Club, and the Whitely Community Council as a member of the Finance Committee.

Jacob is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the AICPA and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor for Online. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, playing piano and guitar, as well as spending time outdoors and being with friends and family. Finally, Jacob is a member of the Traditional Acoustic Band “Common Ground” and performs locally.
