Judy Coomes is from Evansville, Indiana. She graduated from Mater Dei High School and earned an associate degree in business administration from the University of Southern Indiana. In her role as Processing Assistant, she performs various administrative duties relating to supporting the firm’s public accounting function, including processing tax returns, spreadsheets, reports, and documents. Judy helps to ensure that the final presentation of tax returns and documents is accurate and complete while maintaining timelines and hitting deadlines.

Before joining Whitinger & Company’s Fishers, Indiana office, Coomes worked as a buyer for Vectren for twenty-eight years. After moving to Indianapolis, she worked in administration for several accounting firms.

Judy enjoys cooking, camping, and cruising (she has been on more than 30 cruises). She and her husband, Mike, enjoy time with their five children and four grandchildren.
