Keith Hartley is a native of Portland, Indiana, where he graduated from Jay County High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Masters in Accounting from Ball State University. Keith interned with Whitinger during the spring semester of 2023 and served as a Graduate Assistant in 2024 as he completed his coursework.

In his role as a Staff Accountant, Keith works in all areas of the firm, including assurance and tax. He is responsible for performing audit fieldwork at client locations and providing various other assurance services. He also prepares tax returns and completes tax planning and research projects for individual and business clients.

During his college career, Keith was recognized on the Dean’s List for eight semesters, received numerous scholarships for his efforts, and demonstrated leadership as the Secretary of the BSU Accounting Club. Keith is an outdoorsman in his spare time and enjoys basketball, volleyball, football, nature walks, and video games. Keith is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and is planning to get his CPA license.
