February 7, 2025 – Muncie, IN – Whitinger & Company LLC proudly announces that Daniel Maggart of the firm’s Muncie, Indiana office recently passed all required Indiana exams and received his CPA license.
Daniel, from Muncie, Indiana, originally hails from Winchester. He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from Ball State University. As a Manager, Daniel is key in providing top-notch service to clients and helping staff grow. His skills include preparing income tax returns for businesses and individuals, business consulting, and conducting financial statement audits. He also mentors interns and new staff accountants.
Daniel’s journey with Whitinger began in 2012 with an accounting internship, and he joined full-time in 2013. He worked as a Staff Accountant until April 2017, when he took an accounting role at a construction company. He served as the company’s controller from 2019 to 2021. Daniel returned to Whitinger in 2021 as a Senior Accountant and became a Manager in 2024. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.
