Regional public accounting and advisory firm Whitinger & Company has announced the addition of Austin Lawrence to the firm’s Muncie, Indiana office.
Austin joined Whitinger as a Staff Accountant and works in all areas of the practice, including tax and assurance. His responsibilities include accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax compliance services for small businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations. Austin has passed all four sections of the CPA Exam and will soon receive his CPA certificate. He is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society.
Austin is a native of Winchester, Indiana, where he remains active in the community. He attends Freedom Life Church and assisted in starting two organizations designed to help high school students become positive leaders and contributors in the community. As a former Winchester High School athlete, Austin has remained connected to the community as a varsity assistant and JV football coach for the past three years. Austin went on to excel in the classroom at Purdue University, receiving his undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting. Before joining Whitinger & Company recently, he was a Tax Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
