Whitinger & Company Announces Their Spring 2017 Interns January 16, 2017

Whitinger & Company has announced the addition of four interns to their professional staff. All four interns will spend their spring semester working with the firm’s tax division.

Brooke Enterkin is from Losantville, Indiana. She is a Senior at Ball State University where she is completing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Risk Management & Insurance. Before joining Whitinger, Brooke supervised front-end store personnel at Marsh Supermarkets. She looks forward to building the knowledge and skills necessary to grow in her career.

 

 

Craig Monroe is from Muncie. He attends Ball State University, where he majors in Finance and Accounting. He is expected to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in May of 2018. Craig is the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and has regularly earned a spot on the Dean’s List. Before Whitinger, Craig worked as a frontline teller at Thrive Credit Union. Craig is also the president of the Ball State Bowling Club, where he consults with the coach on strategy and reports financial activities to school officials.

 

 

Marcus Price is from Hartford City, Indiana. Marcus is a Senior at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he is expected to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance in May of 2017. Marcus has regularly earned a spot on the Dean’s List. Prior to Whitinger, Marcus was an intern at Delaware Dynamics, where he assisted with budgeting, planning, analysis and research. Marcus also played for the Indiana Wesleyan University baseball team.

 

 

Alison Wallpe is from Greensburg, Indiana. She attends Ball State University, where she will receive her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in December of 2017 and her Masters of Accounting in December of 2018. Alison is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at Ball State University, Beta Gamma Sigma, and has earned distinction on the Dean’s List each semester. Alison volunteered for Habitat for Humanity of Muncie where she, and a team of 25 others, provided service for a family in need.

J. Bush. “Each student will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and will work alongside our professional staff throughout tax season.”
