Whitinger Strategic Services is pleased to welcome Julia Whitson to the team in the role of Account Manager. In her new role as Account Manager for WSS, Julia will work directly with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for all service delivery. She will manage communication and marketing efforts with many valued clients to help ensure that all plans and strategies are organized and executed beyond client expectations. Primary areas of responsibility include developing and implementing marketing plans, assisting with strategic planning engagements, coordinating events, oversight of projects, and assisting in business development.

Prior to joining to WSS team, Julia held positions as a Marketing & Events Assistant and Director of Marketing, and also held the position of Marketing Coordinator for Second Harvest Food Bank where she oversaw a website redesign, coordinated marketing and registration efforts for major annual events, and assisted with the organization’s brand management following a logo redesign. For the past ten years, she worked at The Mattison Corporation in Indianapolis, most recently as an Executive Director for non-profit clients. In this position, Julia provided full-service executive services for statewide organizations, oversaw coordination and management of seminars, workshops, tradeshows, and conferences, and established and implemented strategic planning initiatives.
Julia graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Ball State University Miller College of Business. In her free time, Julia and her husband live in Madison County, Indiana and enjoy pursuing new experiences by traveling, trying new restaurants, and going to festivals and events. In addition, she enjoys running, painting, and playing disc golf.
