Whitinger & Company is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Maggart to the Muncie office as Senior Accountant.
Daniel is a native of Winchester, Indiana and currently lives in Muncie. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from Ball State University. Daniel’s experience at Whitinger goes back to 2012 when he completed an accounting internship and then joined the company full-time in 2013. He served as a Staff Accountant through April 2017 at which time he accepted an accounting position with a construction company in his hometown, later becoming the company’s controller from 2019-2021.
As a Senior Accountant, his specialties and responsibilities include accounting, auditing, consulting and tax compliance services for small businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations. Daniel is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society.

Daniel serves as a board member and vice-chair for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a finance committee member for the Muncie YMCA and serves as a board member and treasurer for the Muncie Sports Commission. He and his wife and young daughter attend Union Chapel Ministries and enjoy spending time with family and friends. He remains active playing basketball, golf, and is an avid disc golf player.
