Whitinger & Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Alison Wallpe, CPA from Senior Accountant to Manager with the regional accounting & advisory firm.
In her role as a Manager, Alison is responsible for accounting, consulting, and tax compliance services for businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations. She is also a member of the firm’s Assurance Team specializing in employee benefit plans and nonprofit audits. She is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and was recently selected for the Indiana CPA Society Young Pros Leadership Academy (YPLA) for 2022-2024.
Alison is from Greensburg, Indiana, and attended Ball State University, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting. At Ball State, Alison was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. After completing an internship with Whitinger in 2017, Alison joined Whitinger’s Muncie office as a full-time staff accountant in January 2019 and was promoted to Senior Accountant after earning her CPA license in 2021.
