Whitinger & Company recently announced the promotion of Ellen Skinner, CPA and Caitlyn Creech to Senior Accountants with the regional accounting & advisory firm.
A native of Mooreland, Indiana, Ellen started with Whitinger & Company as a summer intern in 2017 and joined the team as a full-time staff accountant in September of 2018. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ball State University. She continued her education at Ball State earning her master’s degree in Accounting with a 4.0 GPA. During her time at Ball State, Ellen was active with Beta Alpha Psi and inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma. Upon completion of her Master’s, Ellen went on to pass all four exams to earn her CPA designation in 2020.
As a Senior Accountant in Whitinger’s Muncie office, Ellen is responsible for accounting, consulting, and tax compliance services for businesses, individuals, and non-profits. She is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Caitlyn is from Greentown, Indiana. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Marketing. Before joining Whitinger full-time in 2018, Caitlyn completed an internship with the firm in 2017. Caitlyn transferred to the firms Indianapolis office in 2019 where she readily accepted additional responsibility and new challenges.
As a Senior Accountant in Whitinger’s Indianapolis office, Caitlyn is responsible for accounting and tax compliance services for business and individual clients. She is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the Broad Ripple BNI Club. Caitlyn is currently pursuing her CPA certification.
